Application: Sonic Automation QuickBooks Integration Provider: Sonic Automation / Sonic AV Corp (“Company,” “we,” “us”)

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how the Sonic Automation QuickBooks Integration application (the “Application”) accesses, uses, and protects data obtained from QuickBooks Online. The Application is a private, internal-use tool built solely for Sonic Automation / Sonic AV Corp’s own business operations. It is not offered to the public and does not process data on behalf of any third party.

2. Data We Access

Through an authorized OAuth 2.0 connection to QuickBooks Online (established via CData Connect AI), the Application may access accounting and financial data associated with the Company’s own QuickBooks Online account, including but not limited to:

 

• Customer and vendor records
• Invoices, estimates, and payments
• Profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow data
• Accounts receivable / accounts payable aging data
• Product and service listings

3. How We Use This Data

Data retrieved from QuickBooks Online is used exclusively for:

 

• Internal financial reporting and analysis
• Internal automation and workflow tools
• Business decision-making within Sonic Automation / Sonic AV Corp

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share QuickBooks data with third parties. Data may pass through CData Connect AI’s infrastructure solely as the technical mechanism enabling the OAuth connection between QuickBooks Online and our internal tools; CData does not use this data for any purpose beyond facilitating that connection.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data accessed through this integration is used in real time or cached temporarily for internal reporting purposes. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect access credentials, including OAuth tokens, from unauthorized use.

6. Data Retention

We retain QuickBooks-derived data only as long as necessary to support the internal purposes described above, or as required by applicable Canadian tax and business record-keeping obligations.

7. Your Rights

As this Application accesses only the Company’s own QuickBooks Online account and does not process personal data belonging to third parties or the public, standard third-party data subject rights do not apply. Access to the QuickBooks connection can be revoked at any time via QuickBooks Online’s connected apps settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
